VU Block Model - a better way to learn

We’ve revolutionised the way you learn to make your transition into university easier and give you the skills to succeed when you enter the workforce.

By studying one unit at a time in small groups, and with classes only three days a week, you’ll have less stress, more support from lecturers and a greater chance of success.

To find out how the VU Block Model works in just 60 seconds, watch this video.

What does learning look like at VU Polytechnic?

With VU Polytechnic's Blended Learning model, paper-based theory is replaced with interactive e-learning. Knowledge is applied in hands-on workshops and practiced in the workplace or simulated settings. For you, this means more flexible access to course content, a self-directed learning pace and genuine preparation for contemporary work environments.

Since its 2018 inception, Blended Learning has been recognised for technological innovation with multiple awards from LearnX Foundation and Australian Institute of Training and Development.

Whether you're a high school student, returning to study or pursuing postgrad qualifications, Open Day is the perfect place to find the right course for you.

Hear from VU's Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Peter Dawkins, as he discusses the advantages of the VU Block Model and the large array of study opportunities we offer as a dual-sector institution.
